Accessibility

The Highland Community Care Partnership considers accessibility to be very important to the functionality of this website. We have tried to ensure the information on this website is viewable to as many people as possible, regardless of the platform they are using to view it.

This website has been designed in accordance with the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative. The whole website conforms to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 1.0, Level AA conformance. Where ever possible we have complied with the WCAG 2.0, W3C Recommendation 11 December 2008, Level AAA conformance. It should be noted that the 'Graphical Versions' of each page do not comply to WCAG 2.0 AAA conformance because these have been designed to be as usable to as wide an audience as possible rather than strictly comply with a given set of guidelines. However, we have sought WCAG 2.0 AAA compliance on the 'Large Text Version' of each page. The website is built using a combination of HTML, JPEG, CSS, PDF, and JavaScript technologies.

The 'Large Text Link' at the top of the screen provides users with vision problems access to a version of each page with larger text and higher contrast.

If any user has a problem using this website we encourage them to contact the webmaster via email at info@fhcommunities.org so we may improve our website.
