Planning for Fairness (PFF)

Planning for Fairness is NHS Highland's mechanism for ensuring issues of Equality and Diversity are fully considered in all work we undertake. 

This work addresses the planning processes put in place to establish the Lead Agency Model within NHS Highland and the Highland Council. Further work will be required in relation to each service developed with/subject to organisational change within both Adults and Children’s Services.

All staff developing integrated community-based services must consider the needs of all people to ensure services are developed equitably and sensitively.

The methodology within this high level Planning for Fairness document should be applied and where necessary expanded and amended to all guidelines, protocols and policies involving the development of integrated community-based services.

The evidence within this document can be used while still current.
